Watering Dead Flowers
Watering Dead Flowers
Watering Dead Flowers is a collection of poems I wrote from 2020-2025. A collection of love, heartbreak, and all the in-betweens. I’ve loved so hard it left me burned. The scars of my past love have been bandaged up and nurtured slowly through writing this book. Meeting a new muse. Watching the rise and fall of love. So poetic on paper, but not so much my mind.
Through four chapters: The Loving, The Losing, The Leaving, The Learning. This book walks through the stages of a relationship. Highlighting how love can feel like everything at a point in time. While being a gentle reminder of how pain is only temporary. Seeing the broken beauty of heartbreak and how you’re never alone in that. And finally, the breakdown of nonlinear healing. All written to remind me, remind you, we always end up okay.
This book is some of my rawest feelings put into words. I've found comfort in poetry my whole life. So for the reader, I hope this book does the same for you.
